In case you haven’t heard, OC Restaurant Week starts this Sunday.  And I can’t think of a better way to prepare than with another OC Restaurant Week Spotlight.  Today, the spotlight is shining brightly on Slater’s 50/50.  (past spotlights include Avanti Cafe, Cucina Enoteca, Lucca Cafe, Pizzeria Ortica and Tommy Bahama’s Island Grille).

Slater’s 50/50 is a restaurant I have not yet been to, but am eager to try.  I’ve heard nothing but good things about their burgers, and with the great deals that are being offered at Slater’s during OC Restaurant Week, it’s the perfect time to try them out.

For a sweet $15 at lunch, you get a non-alcoholic beverage, appetizer, and a designed burger (choose from 10 options) or fried chicken pancakes or a salad.

The dinner menu is quite similar to the lunch menu, only this time $20 gets you either a beer or glass of wine, an appetizer, a designed burger, sandwich or salad, AND a dessert.  Slater’s is one of the few restaurants that includes an alcoholic beverage with your meal, and at $20, it’s quite the steal.

I think I know where to go for my burger fix next week.
